Karel Vreeburg

Escher and Dali both made paintings  of shelled heads.  Escher's  drawing is called the "Banden".  Who started it is not known, but it is almost certain that they have not seen each other.  The idea of “Banden ” inspired Karel to make his version in stone.   Funny is that anyone who sees this sculpture  for the first time directly says  “He that look like Escher or Dali”
